MR. GREEN PONY & MAYA
A wise and humble horse, Mr. Green Pony was raised by the trees (how he became green). He meets a little girl, Maya, and together they make new friends & have magical adventures. Mr. Green Pony is patient, grateful, encouraging and the most lovable pony a child could ever have.
A curious, playful child, Maya welcomes Mr. Green Pony into her world when no one else will. She is helpful and enthusiastic and learns to respect her feelings. She discovers how much the Earth loves her and how much she loves the Earth! (Child is image free so all children can relate no matter their race, color or ethnicity.)

EGOR
A silly and sometimes naughty chameleon, Egor adds some fun to the stories. Although, he can become easily discouraged, Egor learns to be brave and use his imagination to conquer his negativity. He learns to be BRAVE and KIND.
THE PRINCESS SNAKE
This royal reptile is resourceful and eager to help out. She sometimes likes to be alone in her castle but often leads the others on nature adventures.
THE ORIGINS OF MR. GREEN PONY
How Mr. Green Pony came to life!
Grammy Lisa became inspired to develop an alternative to screens & videos while babysitting her three-year- old granddaughter. “The child was having a meltdown and, while tempted to put on a movie, I instead made up a story about a green pony that lived on her hobby farm. She was mesmerized and started playing along, becoming captivated with the images in her mind. She even made up her own stories!”
Over the following year, with the help of granddaughter, Madelyn, Grammy Lisa created a cast of magical friends on fun adventures. She wrote 10 stories and recorded them with homemade sound effects, unique voices, and a catchy song at the end. More stories keep coming!
The stories are often inspired by little miracles Lisa sees in nature hoping that our children will explore the magic of the earth and care for her over time.

Grammy Lisa
Grammy Lisa (a.k.a Lisa Venable) inspires young children to wonder, learn, and use their imaginations. She believes the more kids can imagine something, the more they can use their minds to create a healthy, positive world. She is committed to both the well-being of children and nature.
Lisa is an author, psychotherapist and early childhood consultant in Minneapolis, MN. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychotherapy and a bachelor’s in child development. Lisa served as an early childhood advocate to the MN Legislature and teaches at the Adler Graduate School of Counseling.
